Server-side only
Players join with an unmodified client. There is nothing for them to download, and nothing to keep in sync when you update.
12 mods that behave like one game. Here is what each one adds, which are free, and what it takes to run them on a server of your own.
What it is
Most mod lists are a pile of unrelated downloads that happen to run at the same time. This one is a single progression system split across 12 jars: the classes you pick decide how a raid boss fights you, the raid decides what your guild banks, and the guild decides how much of the map you hold. Every addon reads the same levels, the same profiles and the same attributes, which is why they compose instead of collide.
Players join with an unmodified client. There is nothing for them to download, and nothing to keep in sync when you update.
Endless Leveling is the only mod the others require. Take any addon out and the rest keep working.
227 commands and a config file per system, written on first boot. Running it does not mean maintaining it.
Free mods
The core of the suite, free and unrestricted. Endless Leveling on its own is already a complete RPG server: 20 classes, 12 races, 84 augments and levels that keep going.

The core RPG suite: classes, levels, augments, raids and dungeons with no level cap.
Get it on CurseForge
Elite mobs and bosses that scale with player level and bring their own abilities.
Get it on CurseForge
Marry another player, share XP and level up together.
Get it on CurseForge
A daily world boss, the Outlander Warchief, that scales to player level and drops boss-tier loot.
Built into Endless Leveling. No extra download.

Five steps, in this order. The only one that matters sequentially is the second: an addon installed before the core it depends on fails at boot rather than degrading quietly.
Any Hytale server works, self-hosted or rented. The suite is server-side, so you need a server you control rather than anything on the client.
Endless Leveling is the core every other mod builds on: classes, levels, augments and the profile system all live there. Install it before anything else.
Stop the server, put each jar in the server's mods directory, and start it again. The suite writes its own configuration on first boot, so there is nothing to author by hand before it will run.
Every addon after the core is optional and independent. Run guilds without rifts, or rifts without marriage: nothing breaks when a mod is absent, so add them one at a time and check the server log after each.
The shipped defaults are the ones the official server runs. When you want to change them, the config reference documents every file the suite writes.
Every config file the suite writes is documented in the config reference, which reads the live values off the official server, and the wiki covers permissions and per-mod setup. If a boot fails and the log is not obvious, the Discord is the fastest place to get it read.
Or skip the install
If you only want to play, none of the above applies. The official server runs every mod in the suite, premium addons included, already tuned and already populated: connect to play.endlessleveling.net:9000 and pick a race. The joining guide walks through the first ten minutes.
Not these. The whole Endless Leveling suite runs on the server, so players connect with an unmodified client the same way they would join any other multiplayer server. That is also why nothing here can be installed for single player: it needs a server to run on.
12, built as one connected progression system rather than a folder of unrelated plugins. Endless Leveling is the core; the rest are addons that hook into it, and each one is optional.
No. Endless Leveling is the only requirement, because everything else reads the levels, classes and profiles it owns. Every addon after that is independent: install guilds without rifts, or elite mobs without fates, and nothing else changes.
The core suite is free on CurseForge, including Endless Leveling itself, Endless Elite Mobs and Endless Marriage. The Daily Boss is free too, and it now ships inside Endless Leveling, so there is no extra download for it. The premium addons are distributed through Patreon and fund development. Nothing in the free tier is a trial or a cut-down build.
Most, not all. Three of the classes ship in Endless Skills, which runs only on the official server and is not part of the downloadable suite, so a self-hosted install gets the other seventeen class families and all twelve races. Everything else on this site applies to both.
The suite claims its own commands, config files and data, and does not patch unrelated systems, so it coexists with most server mods. Anything that also rewrites damage, XP or mob spawning is where to look first if something behaves oddly, and the Discord is the fastest place to check a specific combination.
Yes, and several do. Allied servers run the same suite under completely different rulesets, from PvE-focused to skyblock to survival MMO. Running it publicly does not require a licence; a partner licence is a separate arrangement covering branding and premium distribution.
Connect to the official server, pick a race and class, and get your first levels.
