Act 1: A New Beginning
Three objectives: talk to the Tutorial Guide, talk to the Guild Registrar, and confirm your race and class.
"Hytale story mode" usually means the base game's own single-player adventure content, which is separate from anything a server adds. This page covers what a server running Endless Leveling adds on top: a multiplayer campaign chapter, quest categories tied to real gameplay, and a quest maker server owners can author with.

Hytale has its own single-player adventure content, and that is a separate thing from anything a server adds — this page is not about it. Endless Leveling is a third-party mod suite, not built or endorsed by Hypixel Studios. What it adds is a campaign and quest system that runs on a multiplayer server, so a group can work through the same track together, and that is what the rest of this page covers.
The built-in campaign is organised as chapter, then acts, then objectives. There is one chapter so far, "Becoming an Adventurer," currently 5 acts and 16 objectives, tracked by a quest HUD and a dedicated Campaign page that groups everything by chapter.
Three objectives: talk to the Tutorial Guide, talk to the Guild Registrar, and confirm your race and class.
Early combat objectives that introduce the class and ability systems.
Progression-facing objectives around leveling up and building a character.
Objectives centred on the hub and what a server has waiting around it.
The chapter's closing act.
Progress never resets, and it is keyed by quest id rather than any per-session state, so an objective finished once stays finished. Completing an objective makes its reward claimable — it is not handed out automatically. Campaign progress can also sync across servers on the network, via a progress relay.
Quests trigger off real gameplay — mob kills, harvesting blocks, clearing a wave gate, finishing a raid, gaining a level, prestiging, visiting a zone, or talking to an NPC — and the quest tracker sorts them into categories:
The built-in Quest Maker lets a server owner author custom quests and reward bundles without touching code. Rewards run console command templates with a {player} substitution, so a quest can grant anything a command on that server can — an item, a rank, a currency payout, or a chain into another quest.
One caveat worth knowing before you lean on quest text for anything: it is English only. That is the one part of the suite without translations — everywhere else, Endless Leveling ships in 12 locales. If your server needs quest content in another language, that is on the Quest Maker author, not something the suite provides yet.
None of this requires picking a class before you can start — see the classes and races guide for what to play while you work through the campaign, and the how to join guide if you have not connected yet.
Hytale has its own single-player adventure content, and that is separate from anything a server adds. This page covers the other kind: the campaign and quest system Endless Leveling adds to a multiplayer server — one chapter, "Becoming an Adventurer", with 5 acts and 16 objectives, plus quest categories tied to raids, bosses, outbreak gates, levelling, prestige and exploration.
A built-in questline layered over multiplayer Hytale: a chapter made of acts, each act made of objectives, tracked by a quest HUD and a dedicated Campaign page. It is not Hytale's own story mode — it is a server-side addition for players on a server running the suite.

No. Progress is keyed by quest id and never resets, so an objective completed once stays completed. Rewards still have to be claimed rather than being auto-granted — finishing an objective makes it claimable, it does not hand you the reward automatically.

No — quest text is English only. That is the one part of the suite without translations; everything else in Endless Leveling ships in 12 locales, but the campaign and quest text has not been localised yet.
